EUROGIRO is a specialized financial service used to send money fast and safe by electronic transfer. The service also allows money transfer related to International cash-on-delivery (EUROGIRO cash-on-delivery or EUROGIRO-COD).
EUROGIRO is a joint system used by various banks and postal operators which allows sending and receiving money through an electronic secured network. 
It is not necesarry to have a bank or postal accound to send money.
This service is offered only for the countries for which the Romanian Post has bilateral agreements with, as it can be seen in the following lists:
Maximum amounts admitted are mentioned in the list of countries for which EUROGIRO  is available, also is the validity term. Depending on the provisions of the agreement signed with the foreign postal operator, EUROGIRO Money Orders can be paid only in cash, in EUR or USD.
The amounts in foreign currencies are to be submitted without metal coin fractions.
The recipient is notified of the arrival at the address mentioned on the respective Money Order and invited to retrieve it from the designated post office. The Money Order is at disposal for a certain period a time established in the bilateral agreement.
